The experiment started this spring, here on the hills near Pisa - Tuscany (Italy) where I live.
It's not plain organic agriculture, but a special kind of technique called synergistic gardening closely related to the Permaculture principles.
This is me and @lordemau showing the results of the first organic/synergistic experiment
We didn't use pesticides, manure, not even fertilizers.
No machine was required, just our hard work with hoes!
Preparing the terrain
So we created two "beds" of terrain and three furrows to gather rain water
It took us 8 hours of hoe work!

After that, we covered the beds with straw and start planting!

Love your organic farming! I'm also growing my own vegetables :) Right now we grow mostly in sand with grass clippings as nutrition :)

Best of luck with this. I lived in the Med for several years and miss it ever day! Definitely see organic food as the future. There was a front page article in UK papers yesterday that says a "Mediterranean" diet is a strong preventive against Alzheimers/Dementia.
I believe it. Too many additives, colors, aluminium and who knows what else in the food chain as it is.
We need to support this choice. otherwise GMO and chemicals will win the battle :)

You might check out http://www.terraorganica.it/. Last I heard, they were doing some great work. Matteo has some Regrarians training, which steps up permaculture farming/ranching to really high level. Depending on where you are on the learning curve, it could help out.
