I see that there's different amount. Which is the absolute minimum amount? 0.5 Steem or 3.5 Steem? I saw in another paragraph that we can also send 0.5 Steem as minimum bid?

3.5 is starting bid. Every raise must be at least 0.5 STEEM. So if you bid 3.5 the next person must bid 4, etc.
