It's necessary to have a good "about" page, mission statement, etc. The previous FAQ was an outdated pile of BS, so it's good something was done about it. Sadly, the new page seems to be half overly vague and half overly technical. Nothing there for the layperson to grasp on to, not much information about the people running the site and what they're trying to accomplish, just corporate mumbo-jumbo designed to sound like it's saying something even though it isn't. Nice disclaimer though, at least you covered your asses.
