I should have sold out when they were at 16usd, or even 10usd.
Now it looks like I hodl'ed too long.
Maybe we will get lucky and the price will spike again, who knows.
I'm wondering how stinc, et al, thought that sbd could trade one to one with the usd when there are literally a zillion usd and only 7 million sbd. **
That doesn't even remotely make mathematical sense.
I mean, I'm no math genius, but if we hope that sbd is going to replace the dollar, we should probably print enough of them to make being on par realistically possible.
7 million sbd is not near enough, that is barely enough to cover one music festival, let alone the entire world economy.
I propose that sbd be air dropped on sbd holders at 100,000 to one.
The price will certainly drop, if that was to happen, but if we only allow so many to ever be created I don't see that as a problem.
If they did an air drop on coin holders it sure would make a lot of folks happy.
Maybe they should do it once a year for the next 10 years?
Maybe monthly for the next 20 years?
Wouldn't that boil up some turmoil in the market?
You wouldn't be able to touch a sbd for the first little while.
I know I would wait until the inflation break even point where the price starts to come down on the open markets.
Once the inflation was at the break even point, the price would predictably come back to one usd.
Maybe random and unannounced air drops would be the way to go?
**Just for the record, I will stop calling them stinc when they stop favoring the already wealthy, and that includes the HUGE delegations into circle jerks that exist only to rape the reward pool at the expense of actual 'good' content creators.
Have a perfectly peaceful day.
Keep working, stop paying. No war, but the class war!!
How to win in court for far less!!
It won't be down for long.
That is what I am hoping for.
How do they expect 7m sbd to replace 7quadrillion usd?
That math ain't even close.
With Binance adding STEEM and I believe SBD today, and with the launch of EOS and Smart Media Tokens looming STEEM and SBD will be going up rapidly. Plus the smart money says society will go from 1% using crypto to roughly 13% of society using it by the end of the year so all cryptos by the end of 2018 will be way way up from where they are right now.
I like the sound of that.
I figure to hold as long as I can, or until my break even point with my retirement check.
Waw your post is very good, thank you @freebornangel for sharing, may be useful for many people.
Ya airdrop the sheet out of it, I propose the rich are already rich, drop a trillion on anyone under rep 50 yay, make i so @ned lol yeh right, back to he drawing board for me.
Like the post, it's nailed down the situation of most people. Thanks for sharing, hope things turn good for everyone of us.
You did the right thing to hold on & keep powering up. From what I've been reading January is always a horrible month for crypto a dip could of been easily predicted & was by many.
Now we just wait for the next spike which will come & then we will all be happy again. :)
Yep, you are right.
I cashed out a little when it was a dime to buy some stuff, them people are sure happy with me now.
Yeah, I missed some good opportunities too. I gave up and converted to Steem before SBD dropped below Steem.
I'm conflicted.
@magic8ball help us?

What, what are we relying on, @magic8ball?
Should we sell now, or wait for the price to spike, again?

I guess the 8 ball called it. Better trade that SBD :D
I like it - I just wish I could understand one small part of this crypto thing...Thanks for trying though...
Trade your sbd on the internal market, power up the steem, and hold on for the ride.
One year from now you should be very happy.
I'm, with ya...Tell me though, when I sell on the internal market, should I use lowest ask, or something higher?
Well, I like to set my price lower than the market and let it come down to me, but that doesn't always work.
If you just want to sell without waiting use the lowest ask.
Thanks, I was wondering if I was short changing myself, but for my purposes, and for now, it looks like the lowest ask works just fine.
Until sbd goes below a dollar it is better to not power up 100%, either.
I should add that the internal market follows the external markets.
If steem is $2 and sbd is $4 then sbd will get you two steem on the internal market.
This market tracks pretty closely because folks use arbitrage to keep them close.
Dear if you miss the chance you have to wait until panic sell
Yeah everyone should do like this thanks for sharing this post

I checked out your page and I am going to give you some very valuable newbie advice, stop spamming people.
If you want to find a following here, and upvotes, then get out and get yourself known to people.
Make some content that folks want to see more of.
Randomly spamming the same comment is only going to get you flagged, and you are not gonna like that.
I use the internal market, it tracks the external markets pretty close due to the arbitrage.
