Way back in 2004 a new website came out called iwon dot com. It was really great and you could win prizes from playing games and giving referrals. In 2006 they started running ads like crazy, so many that it choked the original content out. They lost focus on the original plan and now they no longer exist.
Now that Steemit is struggling they turn to adds. For me this is another sign that things are going down the drain. Here is what I see on the site this afternoon. Do you notice the add on the left side of the page?
