That page 100% absolutely does belong to Steem. I was able to retrieve a full account report. Here is a screen share from that report.
The page was created ONE MONTH before the launch! Why or how would a random "fan" know to make an account named Steem and then to follow with every single relevant post on Steemit by reposting to FB, in addition the FB Steem account engages with Steem fans with comments and advice on a constant basis for more than THREE YEARS.. and longer than the blockchain has even existed by ONE MONTH.
Sorry for the caps but I am sick of people claiming this is not a Stinc Facebook acct. when in fact it absolutely is!!!
Scroll back on their FB acct. and you will see THREE YEARS of constant updates, including the beginning date of the account which was one month 'BEFORE launch'!! Get the account report and see for yourself if you don't believe me.
note: the Steem(it) Facebook page is based in the United States of America and THREE people have access to the password to that account and take turns posting to it.
This was confirmed via some calls to connections of mine.
Not sure if you're trolling or what. Yes the Facebook page does belong to steemit, but the account that spams scam comments promising to give away free STEEM is not Steemit Inc...
