What was your strategy with steemit and did in bring you any success?

It's much better for me to write a reminder to myself, that way I won't forget to check it out

hopefully early next week, i am just going through the documentation to make sure i have correct information.
Are you writing an explanation of steemit (what is it, what is what etc.)
Or you're writing a guide on how to be more successful with it (how to get more followers, post engagement, power up, earn more rewards etc.)?
Or maybe both?
I could actually use both, but it's better to keep them separated (in 2 different posts)
