It takes time to build steem power (SP) . Some of us bought steem to get started when it was $0.20 or less. Many start earning by visiting other's posts and upvoting (even if little SP), but more importantly by commenting. Good comments can generate SP. Have to wait 7 days before it shows up in your wallet so be patient. Some do a lot of re-steeming, but that works best from my experience when you build a following.

Most cannot buy Steem and power up. The best way to earn steem power is to read other peoples posts and leave a good comments. Upvote what you have read even if it has little or no effect. Leaving quality comments can get you started. Some resteem other peoples posts, although unless you have a good size following it has been my experience that it has little effect on building steem power. That is why leaving comments on other people's posts is important.
What is your native language? Have you used https://translate.google.com/ or https://www.spanishenglish.com/ (it translates more than Spanish & English). I am assuming English is not your first language, and if that is the case you may want to leave comments in both languages.
The most important thing you can do as soon as possible is to do an introduction post. This will let people know who you are. It does not have to be perfect just that you are trying to communicate who you are, where you are from, and what your interests are in life. When you do this introduction post let me know and I will resteem for you to give you some exposure.
Be patient and have fun. I have been active for a year and I am still learning new things. You will learn the rules as you get to know Steemit. There are a lot of people on this platform that will help you. But first start commenting on other people's posts and do your introduction post.
I did not get the chance to welcome you to Steemit. Welcome. I am sure you have already found this is a great place. In time hopefully you will earn more than from Youtube..

I spent some time on Steemit before I did an introduction. Some do one early on and then do another when they are more familiar with the format.
