I can assume that you might not have enough time to go through each and every tutorial again, OR maybe some of the audience may want to revise the strategies. So today, I am trying to write the summary of what we have discussed in the past tutorials, and possibly I'd sprinkle some new ideas with them! so don't miss any part of this post.

In the On-Page SEO, we discussed the following strategies:

  • Title
  • Heading
  • Description
  • Steemit Tags
  • Alt Text (for images)
  • Basic Keyword Research
  • Advanced Keyword Research
  • Basic Keywords Analysis (Manual)
  • Keywords Analysis In Automatic Mode
  • Types Of Keywords - With Their Comparison
  • The Guide About Leading Metrics And Their Comparison

I'd boil down things with their sequence so that you would know what to do first if you're just starting SEO by reading my tutorials.

Keyword Research:

Before you start writing the SEO friendly post (i.e On-Page SEO), you must be aware of your targeted keyword. And in order to select your target, you'll have to spend your time on Keywords Research.

In my tutorials, I talked about the fast methods of keyword research. You'll be able to turn 1 keyword into thousands within minutes. You will need ScrapeBox software for this easiness. I dedicated my full post to explain that proven method and I can't write a novel here today, so it will be good if you read some parts of this post.

I made it very clear in my post that some people are offering ScrapeBox cracked versions. But be informed that most of those cracked versions are either with limited features OR they freeze during the process (reported by users on the web). And ScrapeBox is not that costly. You can grab 1 license of a life-time for only 100 dollars.

You will have to put one seed keyword first. Your seed keyword must be related to your planned topic then multiply your seed keyword by "Appending A to Z". It will get you different versions of your seed keyword with one alphabet at the end of your keyword. Then scrape for 10 minutes, you'll get a lot of ideas.

After you get some keyword ideas, your work is to find out the search volume. To know how to do that, please refer to this tutorial.

Keywords Analysis:

Once you get some hundreds of well-searched keywords in your hands through keyword research, the next step is to find out how difficult it is to rank for each keyword.

If you start doing keyword analysis manually, it will take either hours, days or weeks. So, the best way to analyze keyword's difficulty level is to do it through software called LongTailPro. My last tutorial was related to the same trick where I explained that how you can import your list of keywords in LongTailPro and get keyword difficulty score.

Now which keyword is suitable for you. This choice is up to you. Your success depends on your choosing and preferred Keyword difficulty score. The higher the metrics of your site are, the greater will be the number of easy keywords for you.

MOZ Metrics and Majestic Metrics - The Comparison With Conclusion:

So, I had to dedicate around two posts to explain those metrics, and I compared their quality and effectiveness there, but in case you missed those posts, here are some short pieces of information for you.

Moz metrics are usually known as

  • Domain Authority (DA)
  • Page Authority (PA)

Moz metrics can be manipulated. One of the ways is to enable "redirection" to the high-metrics site, then Moz will show the results of redirected landing page. For example: If your site is example.com and you want to manipulate the score, you'll enable "redirection" to some external site, let's say Shopify. Now, Moz will grab the metrics of Shopify and ignore the metrics of example.com. But it can be checked and confirmed easily. You can uncover the truth via Moz Open Site Explorer. Moz usually notifies that "the site redirects to some external site and the shown metrics may not be of your target site". So, in order to find the truth, you'll have to use Moz OSE.

Majestic metrics are known as:

  • Trust Flow (TF)
  • Citation Flow (CF)

It's not easy to manipulate these metrics but that doesn't mean that it's impossible. No matter how strict your system is, spammers (or hackers) always find ways to do dirty-tricks.

Majestic is definitely a winner and they update their index frequently while Moz updates its index monthly. But we can't degrade Moz at the same time. I give importance to both metrics so that I do not miss any potential.

Optimize Your Post With Your Targeted Keyword:

If your keyword research and analysis part was successful, you'll get target keyword in your hands. Now you'll have to make sure that you increase the chances of ranking by following every possible white-hat technique. I dedicated my full post about how to optimize keywords in:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Heading
  • Tags
  • Image Tags

In the case of Steemit, you should include your targeted keyword in your Title with a mixture of some good and relevant sentences. In Steemit, you don't have separate description option, so your first few lines will act as your description. You must include your keyword in your first line (organically) so that it appears in Google's Search snippet easily.

Now, you have to include your Keyword in <h1> your keyword </h1>. Make sure that you don't use more than one h1 in a single post to avoid Google's Bot crawling issues.

Tags are important. You should include your keyword in tags. I've seen people misusing this feature to grab the attention on their Steemit posts. Please respect the features and use them for the benefit of Steemit.

And at last, insert your keyword into the Alt Text of Image. Some people complained and reported the bug in Steemit, but I found a way of how to use Image Alt text function with Steemit. I'll try to post it soon. You can contact me via Steemit chat if you're in hurry.

For more information about Image Alt Text part, please read this tutorial.

Sprinkle The Main Keyword Several Times Organically:

It is preferred to sprinkle (i.e mention the keyword) several times in your post to achieve maximum results. But at the same time, you must take care of the quality and length of your post. For more detailed guide, refer to this tutorial.

Important Info:

We've completed the On-Page SEO successfully. Whenever I get some free time, I'll start Off-Page SEO tutorials. Although I am very busy in these days because of my big ongoing project. But, by looking at the response and demand of SEO posts, I may do it within this week. So please stay tuned.
