if you use randowhale shortly after creating your post, you are actually burning money

Good way to market your post, but I disagree. If you wait 30 minutes or more, then the author gets nothing from rando. Best to do it in the first minute....yes, you will lose money, but that tip jar will look full!
It's wasn't about marketing 😀 I just came across your posting while researching, and then I saw that u used the whale immediately after creating... But I don't get your point. What do you think is your gain from an early rando except the $ that will melt over time?! You think a rando vote makes your post "hot" or trending?!
If you wait to use rando after 30 minutes have gone by, then you (the author) don't get anything.
If you use rando before the post is 30 minutes old, the author gets to keep what rando contributes on a sliding scale. 1 minute being better for the author than the 29th minute. Yes, the author loses $ over time like you say.
Either way, you're losing money with rando.
Ah ok now I get it. You are talking about the Curation share that you get in minute 1 and that rando gets in minute 30. But I'm talking about using rando on day 6, shortly before voting is over ..curators have been determined.. Rando gives you over $ ... But the Curation thing you are referring to is a good point, I'll look into it, thank you
Yeah exactly. If you use rando on day 6, your blog looks like it's making a lot of money. But, in reality the author won't get that money....it'll go to all the upvoters.
