Phishing
Every social media that has the income-generating concept in it must experience phishing by malicious individuals. Many people might not understand the dangers of phishing on their steemit account. Reports have indicated that sites such as steemit are facing the danger of phishing. As many individuals learn the art of minting more income on steemit, phishers do all they can to hack and steal their accounts thus, making phishing to be one of the worst dangers that steemit users could face.
Botting
When I first started writing on steemit, I totally did not understand the art of making money on it. I seldom logged in and didn't concentrate on the income part. I took a good amount of time to learn about the mechanics behind the steemit income generating process. I later realized that there were many people making so much a post. There are many steemit bots assigned tasks that are complex and human in nature. These bots are able to everything that humans do on steemit. With bots, bloggers can make way over $3,000 on their posts. Bots can help curate, comment and upvote other peoples posts automatically. Basically, they automate the steemit processes with the sole intention of making money.
Plagiarism
Writing is an art embraced only by a few. not everyone on a social media platform loves writing. Additionally, not every individual who writes know what to write and how to write it. When people realize that they can make money on steemit, they seldom care about the quality of what they write. People will more often than not, create plagiarized contents and use them to leverage on their income.
Stealing of accounts
Although many people will not believe that their accounts can be stolen. Steemit has a protocol that detects the stolen accounts with the intention of shutting the down. Ideally, writers who make more money on steemit are at higher risks of losing their accounts to hackers.
