I've used this code for some time, but I think it's fine if the text is short, otherwise it makes me get headaches read long texts like that. This is why in my posts ENG-ITA I write the texts separately, first English for everyone and then my language.

AS a lot of my posts could be directed toward French and English speakers, I often hoped to find this technique. So, a giant "THANK YOU!!!" for giving us the codes necessary to make this dream come true.

Namaste :)

and a thanks to @mcassani as well, as he was the one who provided them. (and whoever he learned them from).

🙏 ;-)

Hello @rok-sivante

Thanks for bringing such an awesome discovery on special translation Mark down. Please, I have been searching for a special markdown that will enable me make a table for some time now. Any idea on this sir?

Upv by
@eurogee, the Steemivangelist of @euronation

really not sure. I'd suggest googling "markdown tables" and search through the results...

Okay. Appreciate this opinion

hey buddy! Just saw your question here :)
here's a quick way shown as code below

Header 1| Header 2| Header 3
--- | --- | ---
row1 value 1 | value 2| value 3
row 2 value 2| value 2| value 3

Result:

Header 1Header 2Header 3
row1 value 1value 2value 3
row 2 value 2value 2value 3

Thanks my friend. Really appreciate this gesture if kindness. God bless you

It definitely is a great way to display both the original work, and the translated work side-by-side.
Makes it easier to cross-check and even makes it seem more 'legit' in a way.

Followed.

Make sure to check out my blog and follow back :)

I agree. The posts that are set up like this are much easier to read and just have a better flow. It makes a ton of sense.

nice development opportunity , lets all take advantage of it

I liked the post.
Waiting for your next post.

Hello sir @rok-sivante
I am an interpreter into Bahasa
I already understand what you want to convey, I also give the same value as you, if we steemians using that way, even make the writer can learn faster about foreign language, here we comparing it, we can see quickly and well, very easy. ,
I will try to make a post with the tricks you recommend. Thank you sir @rok-sivante

excellent!

please post the link back here so I can be sure to show my support. :-)

Thank you @rok-sivante .
Very good this post and very useful for me and all of them.

I have done this with many of my early post and did them in German and English. Exactly the style you are suggesting here. It looks great on a big screen however on a mobile the design is not flexible and becomes basically unreadable. I found this a huge bummer because we have a large community on Steemit who access the blockchain only with their phones. So I came to the conclusion to not do this method anymore.

hmmmm, never considered that.

t'is odd... just double checked that post from @mcassani on my iPhone to test it, and it still looks ok. not as good as on computer, as it squishes so there's only 2 or 3 words per line. but still readable.

Duly noted! I speak a few languages myself (though I can only write English and French)

Sometimes I wish I could find the French-speaking Steemians on here, maybe in the future I'll give this translation technique a go for some posts!

If you ever wanted some posts-translated to French I would definitely be your guy by the way @rok (though I have no idea if you have anybody who would be interested!)

I feel most frenchies on Steemit are the ones who got their fingers out their @$$ and actually autodiktat-ed themselves the language, so I don't know if it's as necessary as say translating for Asian and South American countries that have never really had the exposure to English like a lot of other countries' have

It'd be interesting actually to have some metrics on where all the Steemit users come from, which posts are written in which language! I wonder how truly global Steemit is, where the major players are, etc!

I bet whoever could perform that kind of analysis would do well on this platform :3

(I personally have 0 skills in statistics and metrics hahaha!)

Thanks for the post, bookmarked for that future reference day in my "Useful Steemit Posts" bookmark folder ;)

I know both @malik.roxane and @myrockandocean are based in Paris and are probably connected into some of the Steemit community there - perhaps you might wanna connect with them to find more Frenchies... ;-)

Nice! Let me get on the Steemit Chat and make some connecs! Although seems malik.roxanne is based in Brussels! (Great, that would actually make her my countrymate!) Appreciated rok xx

hmmm... she had posted a video that looked like alot of it was filmed in Paris - maybe I just made the assumption.

either way, she definitely speaks/writes French - also stated on that dTube post, "From scratch, I built the French community"... had also hit me up for some content she was putting together for a book on Steemit in French, so regardless of location, it'd be a good inroad...

Hello @rok-sivante
I'm from Indonesia and sometimes create articles with 2 languages.
I finally found what I was looking for all this time. your post is very helpful. By following the technique you're share, although it may seem a bit difficult for me, I will try it. That way for articles that use translations will become more interesting to read.
The articles are very interesting and very helpful.
Thank you very much @rok-sivante
Best Regards :)

excellent. ☺️

excelent stuff 👍 no doubt it is best way to translate...to add on... The user manual u will find on any of the boxes lije nokia mobile or any other way..is like that simultaneously all the translation done.
The example you shated is indeed the best wsy to showxase the translation work....

I'm new and looking into editor was a simple way of making your post have different structures. This is interesting and going to be useful for me. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Giving my love to all the translators here in Steemit!

This is great. I also do translation of post to one of the Nigerian languages, this will help me whenever i resume that. I am bookmarking this.

awesome. 😎

mad props indeed.

Yes indeed. Great effort has been put in by a lot of steemitians in translating quality content into multiple languages. I know so many who have done a lot of hindi translations. I am sure your post will only motivate and help them to perform better using the technique specified. Regards Nainaz
