I decided to explore a little Web searching for potential challengers to Steemit.
The result? no one is able to compete in the least ...
Starting from Reddit, it is important, but does not provide any reward to those who write and those who care the article ...
Facebook is becoming garbage, the contents are bad and devoid of values, now it is used only to post selfies repeatedly ...
Instagram and Twitter are original, but the first is based only on photographs, while the second is only short messages then becomes impossible to share something innovative and complex ...
Since Steemit's paper I can say that the experiment / project has everything it takes to become something very important. First of all because many have tried to create portals that contain content offering compensation using common online payment methods such as Paypal but the lack of interest on the part of those who would have to fill the platforms, have led to rapid failure. With Steemit we have the benefits of cryptocurrency and to be awarded both the readers who are content creators.
One thing to improve and to develop is the marketing ... Steemit will be known from about 0.0001% of the world population, imagine what would happen if only 1% uses the platform on a regular basis, we could become the turning point of the WEB. Getting paid to the merit of an article or a report ... WOOWW the dream of everyone I think!
MARKETING, MARKETING, MARKETING

I agree, if/when steemit becomes more popular we will definitely see some rewards, but there are already things we need to work out now on steemit such as all the spam blogs that are out there, the bot votes etc. We need to create something that can benefit everyone involved who puts in hard work, not just the top 5% and not just the ones who only care about themselves
yes..I agree
sure!

We will see how it works. I think Steemit will explode.
Then it is the questions if Steemit will survive this. Scalability will be a big problem. More users will make things worse and better. A lot of things have to be solved: fair rewards, illegal content, abuse of the system etc. I mean things at scale with millions of users and solutions have to be provided in weeks not months. Otherwise the audience will go somewhere else.
La vedo proprio come te.
Steemit ha un potenziale grandissimo.
Da vedere se non nasce una qualche concorrente.
