NSFW Toggle
Not Safe For Work or NSFW is a tag used to indicate a post may not be appropriate for all to view. You now have the ability to decide if you want to allow your account to upvote posts marked as NSFW. By default @ShadowBot does NOT up vote NSFW posts on your behalf. You may access this toggle inside the Settings tab of your account!
Updated Voting Power Management
ShadowBot now utilizes all Voting Power in the Shadow Pool. Voting occurs for all accounts every 5 hours OR when Voting Power reaches 100%, whichever occurs first. Approx. 2% Voting Power is used during each voting session, allowing for adequate time to recharge.
Notifications
You will begin to see over the coming weeks/months more and more notifications generated by ShadowBot. You will have a full history of all notifications generated inside your account at all times! These will help you see insight into the more "inner workings" of ShadowBot and maximize your experience on Steemit!
Auto Resteem
You have the ability to set a threshold for automatically resteeming posts generated by Shadow Caster's that are above your desired Shadow Rank threshold. By default it is NOT on. If you would like to try out this new feature try starting with setting your threshold to 100% which ensures only the highest quality content is ever resteemed. Feel free to play around with the different levels until you find what works best for you!
Limit up votes per Shadow Caster to 15 per week
By enabling this option your account will only allocate 15 up votes every 7 days to any one particular Steemit Author ("Shadow Caster"). This option gives you more control over preventing spam and abuse and will go farther in the next release we are planning! Remember this is PER Shadow Caster NOT the total up votes you will be providing to the Shadow Pool!

So as an initial sceptic of @shadowbot I've been enjoying the past (7?) days of membership. I still haven't the foggiest what the graphs are telling me but it looks like there are some definite benefits to being a member. \o/

Dropped my resteem to 80% we need to set the barrier to something achievable for sections of our little community imo. High achievers don't need help. :-)
We are working on the balance and ratio/algorithm. This is a BRAND new feature and the more input/feedback we get the more we can fine tune it! Thanks for being with us it is amazing to see how we are growing this all together!

How do you disable it if you no longer want to use it?
Simply change your keys. You can do that inside your wallet.
I dont see anywhere to change my keys in my wallet. This is all i see.
I like the app, its just for future reference so i know.
In wallet go to Password and reset your master password it will reset your account. I can also remove you manually if you like.

Are you logging in using the private key you signed up with as well as your steemit username? It appears to be working properly

Well to start things off. The resteem should be disabled by default. As soon as i started using the system i resteemed 70000 different things. And thats a nono in my book. Beyond that. atm i cannot give you more feedback but i will! -Cheers
How do you stop the resteems??
Simply go to settings and set to Off

The simplest and most secure way is to change your Private Posting key.
Ok, this was a bit too much and too intrusive... I never resteem anything from anyone, keeping my wall strictly for my own works. It was quite an unpleasant surprise to turn the PC on and seeing 2 completely unrelated posts there.
How can I sign off from your "service"?
You can turn off re-steeming in settings. If you want to leave you can always change your private posting keys.
There's no other way to simply sign off from your bot?
How do I change it?
We can remove you but it is advised if you want to leave to revoke your keys as well

anyway thats a great project and I hope it will help us to get more and more STEEM POWER.
We did see it and you are one of the primary reasons we are adding it! We only have so much time and there were some serious core updates we needed to make to make a stable roll out today! We have a laundry list of things still and will never be done! Keep the ideas coming trust me they do not fall on deaf ears!

Didn't mean to hold you on so long just so many replies every day hard to get to them all. We are rolling out this weekend a way to turn on/off ShadowBot as well as in settings a way to completely delete/remove your account. This will help those who want to take a break or leave for good to do so going forward! Sorry we didn't have that out sooner!

I'm a few days into using @shadowbot and I just don't really see what I'm getting out of it besides a lot of burned voting power. Most of the articles my votes are being used are are not very good quality and right now I get about one return upvote for every 30 given. Am I totally missing something here?
Posts are weighted in the system first by shadow rank then by expiration date. As your Shadow Rank increases you will get priority in the pool and earn more. Our next release will allow members to flag internally posts in the pool to identify who is abusing and who is not.
Well I'll keep at it and hopefully my rank will begin to increase soon.
It is a balancing act we are ever working on. Every release we get better at the juggling act of vote allocation to all fairly. The #1 way to get your rank up is to power up your SP currently it holds the majority weight in deciding how much rank your posts get. Second biggest is number of posts per week. Posting more than 15 posts a week will instantly begin to look at your account more as potentially someone spamming or abusing both ShadowBot and Steemit.
Any feedback you provide is greatly appreciated and helps us fine tune this as we learn and earn together! Thanks for being part of this!
My biggest request right now would be someway to set a minimum voting power requirement for voting or change the voting frequency. Almost my entire days worth of recharge ends up going into shadowbot atm and I'd like a way to give myself a little more wiggle room in that regard.
Noted. We are working on balancing that as well. Our original system had over 80% of members never voting which led us to the current voting system in place today.
