Who ever came up with block scheduling in high school probably didn't graduate from high school. My school went to block scheduling after the Christmas Break.
I am sure that some peolple are not familiar with block scheduling, to sum it up, class times are longer (1 hour 45 minutes) and you do not go to the same classes everyday. Very confusing at first. One thing that I already see that I do not like is the time frames. I can see the attention from the students dropping way off after about an hour and 15 minutes.
Now the second thing I have noticed and not liked is the lunch time. See before block scheduling we had 23 minutes for lunch. Now we have 17 minutes??? I am not sure I can probably prepare myself and chew the way its safe in 17 minutes. Someone is gonna choke!!!
Well we're stuck with it now, but this is crazy!!! Three days in and I haven't finish a lunch yet. My nutritional content is failing, lets hope the grades don't.

Pfft. You should have seen the Crazy Tuesday in my high school. My school ran 9 classes, with each class meeting 4 days per week. Odd week Tuesdays were known as crazy tuesday, because the class order went as follows:
2, 7, 4, 6, 5, 9, 8
The seniors always had a laugh as the freshmen got confused the first couple weeks.
17 mins just isn’t enough time to eat 6 tacos!
