Making Those Steemit Blogger Central Upvotes Count!
The biggest idea to create this Steemit account was to generate some serious Steem Power behind it to grow so our Slack users that share content get an extra boost per share. We know there is a ton of support systems in this area already with way more backing then the current state of SBC at the moment but our goal is very huge to turn this into a whale of a voting up system.
One issue we see with other platforms is the need to delegate power or pay for their upvotes. This makes sense to do because there is a ton of time and effort on those platforms to provide their services but we are thinking a little out of the box there by giving the upvotes away freely. We are about encouraging and helping here at SBC so we decided to never as for payment for our help. What our plan is to reward those we deem are providing Steemit with amazing content, to encourage the little guys as well who don't have that financial backing to grow fast but have raw talent worthy of a boost.
Growing Steem Power with our Blog Posts
The main vision here on our Steemit for SBC is to promote Steemit users that take the time to join our Slack community and help us grow together. Another usage for this Steemit is to promote SBC, provide tutorials for new Steemit users, and to feature to the Steemit community who is doing so much work by providing content that makes a difference to the platform. The concept is simple, take every upvote we get on our blogs and bank them back into Steem Power so we can reward Steemians of all types, yes even the Whales of Steemit deserve our backing as long as they provide great content which is usually the case. Equal opportunity with SBC and that will always be the case.
Today We Just Got a Bump Up in Our Steem Power!
Steemit Blogger Central has been going strong now over a month. We have posted almost 1000 Steemit articles now to our Facebook and Twitter pages, and we have grown over 100 Slack members in the couple of weeks of that now being live. This profile though was finally created about a week back and we get the fact that its going to take time to grow that Steem Power without making people pay to play with SBC.
Today our founder @sflaherty decided to delegate all his Steem Power to help this get that kick start it needs to help others out. His belief in this project to grow is non stop and wanted to put full focus on making this a free form community that provides help to all of Steemit. He has also turned over all his mining gear to mine for altcoins and bitcoins to 100% dump into Steem Power for @steemitbc so the possibilities of this taking off better has seriously just gotten a massive upgrade.
Using the Voting Power Wisely and What You Have To Do For The Upvote Help
At the moment we are automating a few things on our Slack with some bots, not live yet but we have a very talented developer with us right now putting things together that most platforms do not have in place yet. Not only do we promote our users in our Slack out to social media but we plan to put some tech behind our work to make this a smooth running helping machine that can take on the whole of Steemit if need be. We are preparing for any crazy growth that may come our way.
Our upvotes will go towards those that post in our Slack, that is our hub and our family so we want to encourage that family to grow and help each other out. Due to the 5% decrease in voting power since HF19 we will have to have cool down periods to recover our voting power but there should be plenty to spread around as we keep growing SBC. So if you feel you need a boost or want help of any kind, SBC is a home if you choose it for that help. We do not want your money or will ever ask for such things for our help. All we ask is you help out our members, follow each other and upvote the content you love within our Slack. We sense that doing it in a community driven way will benefit not only us but for every member that comes to us.

Think delegating the power should boost this to grow some SP for itself faster, hopefully lol. Little more every day and we should be something to contend with not too long from now. Most important factor, a free helping hand to all involved, think everyone deserves that
growing sp does take time indeed, but it also looks like the votes that you get from people are worth 0.01 or less since people don't understand how voting works or what it actually does.
I agree, it is a learning curve with the voting power since HF19 changed things but its alright, we just grow the numbers so everyone together does better

Shaaaaweeet! Now that is good news my friend, hopefully this helps in any way possible. Feel like it kind of slowed down on my end but it could just be because of the summer time and 4th of July bbq's, that probably everyone is still trying to attempt again this weekend.
