Every once in a while, I have the creative urge to write a poem. This is something I had, ever since I was a little kid. No specfic genre or rhyme scheme, no favourite subject. Just writing down, whatever comes to mind. It seemed like a fun idea, to share these poems with you. For inspiration, for fun, for whatever reason. Today, volume 2. Please let me know in the comment section below, what you think of this one:

Battlecry
In the name of Invictus,
as a match it ignites us,
with a powerfull surplus,
our hearts set ablaze.
Cause we are untouchable,
relentless, unstoppable,
more cunning and capable,
foes fearfully glaze.
There is no escaping,
from pillage and raping,
your death is awaiting,
through blood it repays.
In battle victorious,
in pride oh so glorious,
our minds ever morbius,
no soul that inveighs.
We conquer and finish,
we slay and diminish,
we fight and demolish,
for honour and praise.
