RE: Steemit Expectations: Getting used to disappointment.

in #steemit9 years ago

Watch the "new" list. There are good articles coming in all of the time. People try harder, write better, post, post, post. Nobody sees it. It falls off the new chart quickly.

If SteemIt is going to pull out of this slide, they need to make some fixes quickly. Nobody on the internet is saying, "Gosh, if only there was a place for Quality Content." Nobody. Most people who came here, came here because they were told they could make money. So, stop telling them not to try to make money. Change the Marketing. Change the payout structure. Yes, I know it is in Beta, and it is all ready broken. Go to twitter and search for #steemit

@whatsup, @thelord never did mentioned about the quality of writing. I do agree, that noobs, like me, should consider what people like to read. Supply and demand. As far as money is concerned, yes, people should write to make money, but the timing of what posts actually make money, is still in question. I'm sure you're not always hitting a gold mine with every post you have created, right? Have you ever wondered why?
UPDATE: NM. :p

There are about 5000 new posts a day. All but a few are not getting paid. Yes, I have made it a study to find out why. It has nothing to do with writing better. :)

but can you make a successful post about farts and make thousands??
