First of all I would like to thank @dobartim who has held this contest as well as my gratitude to those who have supported this contest. Through this contest I also hope to spur myself in using the steemit platform. To write 1000 words in this contest, I have to provide a cup of coffee and a plate of bread to keep myself in a conscious state. Hhhhh.

About me and first know steemit

It might not be fun if I had to start right away to write how steemit changed my life. It would be nice to introduce yourself first. Introduce my name Jamaluddin, usually my friend calls me Je. I am currently 27 years old who is no longer a child. My current job is a teacher at one of the high schools in my district. I teach math subjects. Being a teacher is a very noble job. I am also very interested to travel far using motorcycles, usually to add friends in each region and enjoy the nature with the beauty of the existing tours in each region. In addition, my job is to help my mother sell Acehnese noodles that are my father's deceased heritage business, so our family continues to survive and meet the economic needs of our family.

Initially I knew this steemit from a news link spread on facebook that was shared about elephant by a friend by the name of his account @zamzamiali. When I open the link I think this steemit is where he writes the news, strangely I see it like a social media. At that time I ignored this steemit because there was no information I got about steemit and also I was not looking for information about steemit.

A few days after that I met a friend @barzah and we drank coffee while telling stories. Then he asked me, "do you have a steemit account?". I quickly replied, "No". Then I asked him, "What is steemit?" He replied, "Steemit is a social media platform that can make money. "In my heart to ask how there is social media that can make money, it makes me a little interested to try and to prove the truth from the words of my friend He also suggested me to create an account first because the keyword steemit may be given in a few days, key was obtained, he told me to discuss again.

By the time my friend @myus and @asrul came to my house. I ask if they have a steemit account? They just laughed, because they already have a steemit account. That means I am late getting the latest information in the world of social media. With the help of both, I enrolled on this steemit platform. The funny thing is after registering, every day I open an email to check the incoming message please password has been sent. Perhaps it is said to expect the best to wait and be patient. Until finally January 18, 2018 a new message appeared and I hope that's what I've been waiting for. Yessss ... I finally got a password that I would really expect. Hmmm ... it turns out it must wait and patiently to get it.

How steemit changed my life

After a few weeks I use steemit and find out information about steemit. I just realized that steemit already exists and differs from other social media platforms. I was very impressed with the first post that appeared on steemit. People are very enthusiastic to say welcome to me. It became an early spirit for me to move forward on the steemit platform. When I first used steemit I did not think how I was paid, I just used it for long term personal blogs that could benefit me personally especially, in hopes it could also benefit others. Every time I post content, I expect many people will read and comment on each post so I know whether my content is good or not.

I also get support from friends who invite me to join in steemit for make a good post. Among them @barzah, @arie.steem, @myus, and @elfahlevi. If I encounter any obstacles I come to them or contact them via apk whatsApp. And I am so grateful they are so sincere in helping me.

As time goes by I keep creating content in steemit. Without my awareness that my account was noticed by @ilyasismail, he has long joined in this steemit and he chairman community steemit Indonesia (KSI) chapter East Aceh. I was called by him to discuss about steemit. He taught me so much and motivated me using the steemit platform. This became one of the most beautiful moments for which I did not suspect other than I was called by the chairman of the community, also get knowledge and invited to join the community of steemit indonesia chapter East Aceh. This is amazing. Once again I am very grateful.

On February 24, 2018, the chapter of KSI Aceh Timur held a meeting with the theme "bereh". With the presenter is the curator of indonesia @levycore, curator of game @jodipamungkas and stemian which have been successful in this steemit platform that is @abduhawab, @zainalbakri, and @ayijufridar. The event was also attended by steemit friends from east aceh and also came from various regions, both self and other steemian community. All so enthusiastic though coming from a distant and different place but on the show it all seemed to be one, I did not expect what I saw at the time. All share their success stories, sharing how the bitter tastes of early use of the steemit platform.

I am very enthusiastic about the meeting because there are still many questions I need to know about the steemit platform. Many of the answers I get from this forum. Even something new I met at the meeting. I also had the opportunity to ask, the question I asked was about the effect of sound on reputation. And it was answered with great satisfaction.

From the meet up I get a tremendous change of self to myself, which I have never found elsewhere.

1. Meet amazing people at meet ups who are giving new passion to continue using the steemit platform.
2. Many different sources of scholarship, hobbies and expertise each make me more focused on my choice of steemit. For example: Andi prefer to traveling, Edi prefer to education, etc.
3. Sense of brotherhood, new friends, new knowledge, insights and different characters from everyone I meet makes a new color in my life.
4. I also have to be more active in learning to expand my knowledge and knowledge. Which I think is still very lacking and needs to be improved so I am more creative and innovative.

I promotes steemit to others

I also actively invite some of my friends to use steemit, because I think steemit is very beneficial and useful. They even have a part to create a steemit account. Among them are: @tm-yusuf, @rizwaniwan, @bangjimy, @khaliss, @rahmat92, @munzirazkia, @risqiaulia, and also my young sister @zuliaf3. Although I have not succeeded in steemit I will keep trying. To ensure that in this steemit many things we can do. And to achieve success it must be bathed in blood sweat, brain twisting, struggling to think to create good content. But because the upvote value they get is so low it makes them less enthusiastic about using steemit. But to invite others to succeed it is very difficult if yourself has not been successful. And because I have not been successful it is a challenge for me to prove that in steemit it takes hard work to achieve success and I have to get it. I also do not stop giving support to them to be more active in steemit. As the old saying goes :

“slow but sure”

Speaking of financial problems that I get from steemit, I have never melted it so I have not been able to show proof of fact, even if I exchange sbd into the money must be the amount is still a dime. Hahahaha
