Salutations friends.
I pen this piece with utter shock and dismay at the way things are taking rounds as the guild campaigns come to their evening hours before voting takes shape tomorrow.
The credibility of the electoral commission will be questioned if they cannot come out and answer the injustices that are so far being inflicted on different camps which will of course affect their performance in the due course.
My basic argument in this case draws from what transpired at the last two rallies that is the lumumba hall rally and the Mitchell hall rally.
Lumumba hall on the 12th of this month hosted the most peaceful rally that left everyone wondering how the gongom land could afford awarding equal opportunities to speak irrespective of their political beliefs, affiliates and origins including a one KJ who was accorded the respect he deserves as a guild candidate. All this done, lumumba hall expected the same treatment at the subsequent Mitchell hall rally but this was not the case as we all witnessed yesterday.
Candidate mukisa was denied entrance into Mitchell and above all his supporters were hunted down like chicken thieves by Mitchell residents.
Really?
It is therefore my prayer that this issue is looked into with immediate effect since all candidates are entitled to the same rights as others.
I call upon the electoral commission to address this issue before voting takes place if they are to prove their genuine cause.
I thank you.
