SBI Shares

I have now received 219 shares from my other account! Apart from those, this account already had 14 shares, meaning our total is at 233. That said, we have also spent another 20 steem to get more shares via trading, so the grand total is now 273! Obviously still very little, but we hope to keep increasing it as much as we can.

Steem Monsters Talk

I have now been part of the steemmonster community for over 8 months. In this time however, I never actually understood or got the game entirely. This lead me to simply pour in a bunch of money to get some cool cards, and hold on to them (until recently) when I sold most of the cards. I suppose my question is;

"Is SteemMonsters actually fun to play, or simply enjoyable as it is part of the steem blockchain"?

Because for me, I tend to support it as it promotes steem, however it is definitely not a game I enjoy playing and is definitely on the bottom of my "favorite game" list.

SBI Giveaway

I will be giving one sbi share away.

I'll randomly assign each comment with a number, and then have siri pick a number to decide the winner! Good Luck!

Sort:

Sort of meh about it. Definitely pay-to-win (especially since you don't pilot your hand after selecting the cards for each match) and the matchups take too long because the user base is pretty small.
I'm more interested in seeing what other games people build around the cards (since it's blockchain-based, there is no reason development can only come from SteemMonsters team).

Yep totally agree with it being pay to win and the time it takes for each match. That's true as well, definitely will be interesting how others can incorporate the blockchain.

I think it's fun to play

Glad you enjoy it!

It's fun to Play, but I also try to reach some aim without to invest Money. So today I made a hard decision to sell my Rules of the Seas. I loved him very much, but it was really the best decision I good do, because with only investing half of the Steem I get for him back I could improve my water Team very much and yesterday I was in silver and was not able to come back to Gold again, but with improved Team I come back to Gold and now I'm very comfortable in Gold and I have some steem more to invest. So I try to catch this water elements as next if they are offered for 0,09$ (today I catched one for this Price, but was only this one other cost 0,1$), but I can wait.

Well good luck with your endevours on SteemMonsters!

for me it's fun to play. most important in the moment the daily quests.

I can not answer, because I have not played yet, for now I've only been collecting the cards

At the time being I think simply enjoyable as it is part of the steem blockchain

I do think it is a very fun game to play.
It is a shame that with every change they make, it becomes more top heavy and more 'pay to play'.
So I decided to find out if it was still possible to play the game without investing in anything else than the starter deck.

My experiment can be followed on my blog.

Haven't really seen steemmonsters in this perspective.
I definitely have fun but I feel like the fun is enhanced because it is linked with steem.
So the precise answer would be ,
The fun would be less if it wasn't linked to Steem.
