RE: Steem Monsters Completes First Ever Security Token Offering on Steem!

So many people saying CONGRATS or EXCITING...
and yet how many of them know what it actually means and if it's good or how good it is.

I'll be willing to say I don't understand all of what this entails:

  • Nice that you'll have the ability to have more money to develop faster and more ability to weather the storms.

But what are the drawbacks?

  • Do you now have commitments to individuals that could put you at risk in other areas?
  • Are you now more hamstringed in other areas that you weren't before because of your operations with the US government.

Don't just sunshine and rainbows us... let's hear what are the pros AND cons of this.

Sort:

We don't believe there are any drawbacks to this fund raise. We have a commitment to our investors to grow the product as much as possible, but that's no different than our goal before taking outside investment or our commitment to ourselves. Second, as a US-based company owned and operated by US citizens, we are no more restricted as a result of this token offering than we were before and we are always committed to acting within the rules and regulations in place in the jurisdictions where we operate, whether or not we agree with those rules.
