Not sure what this is about?
AWESOME!!
Three questions and thoughts.
You give a multiplier of 30x for gold foils. What's the reasoning behind that? (Is that based on market prices or 30x come from something else)
You show legendary drop rate at 1.2 ... and that may be the historical average but the new average is much lower. Maybe that needs an asterix to say this is historical and the .8% number next to it.
Also drop rates for gold foils are hard to determine with so little information and it is possible the retroactive drop rates ignored cards that were traded making it even harder to trust historical rates and more to take into account sales post announcement of gold foils.
All in all keep it up this is awesome!!
Hey Jarvie I can answer these,
#1
30x was taken from 2 sales of gold foils a chromatic dragon 350SBD and a selenia sky 450SBD I found the correlation that selenia sky averages 15SBD right meow and a dragon around 12 SBD and so those numbers created 15x30=450 and 12x30=360 pretty much lining up for both of them and I used average values for cards after that to try and reverse engineer it, never precise and the market will dictate but in these beginning stages we work for some semblance of averages.
#2
I spoke with calumam and that posting was in error, you are correct the number is 1% and will be corrected and also correct that from day to day that number has been fluctuating and sometimes goes below 1%
#3
drop rates for foils was determined by taking the regular drop rates for types and determining 2% of that which gives you averages on drop rates for different types :)
#3 Cool that's how i am calculating things right now as well
#1 Interesting how that is seeming to line up. We'll keep an eye out if it continues to do that.
I think your card counts (at least for the commons) is counting combined cards as a single card. Not sure if that's really representative.
Yes, when cards are combined it results in one single card being left and the other are removed from circulation, so I believe he's representing the amount of cards that exist correctly.
If there are 10 of a certain card, and 5 are combined, then that only leaves 6 cards of those cards in existence which in effect makes them more rare.
Yes. I think that will matter later on when gameplay is launched.
For now, a lot (most?) people are keeping their cards as singles to make trading easier.
So when we look at these lines:
Minotaur Warrior 3282
Rexxie 6367
It's not really that the minotaur is twice as rare as rexxie, it's just that for whatever reason more of the minotaur have been combined but there is still plenty of supply and the drop rates are roughly the same.
When we get into game mode and a disparity like that exists it will be much more important price-wise
The information for total number of cards created is available as well. If you add the number of cards in existence to the total XP of all cards of that type divided by the XP per card when combining then you can find the info you're looking for. Perhaps @themonstertrader can include that in future posts!
Hi @yabapmatt
maybe you are not aware but steembottracker.com is promoting a scam:
the bot "promobot" show a Min / max ROI of "-2% / 2.5%"
but the reality is "-6.5% / 0%", as explained by promobot here
the estimated ROI in the details section are also totally wrong for this bot.
You have to remove it from your list
Yep, I use @lukestokes' list for that
Thanks again, for all your genius on this, mate.
Is it possible someone could build a site/tool which shows all previous owners of a given card, and/or all previous owners of all the cards which were combined to make it?
(I'm assuming it is, but just wanted to be sure)
Yea, absolutely it is, and that would be totally awesome! One day certain cards might be worth more because they were once owned by a celebrity lol!
That's where I started, too, but chase that white rabbit a bit and things get even more interesting;
A trusted, transparent charity verifies ownership of an account, and announces that they'll auction off the contents of one (and only one) booster pack every month for the foreseeable future.
I'd be bidding on those cards.
I want my publicly visible collection to demonstrate my charitable nature; and I would certainly anticipate that when big players arrive they'll be willing to pay me a premium for those cards, so they'll not only retain their value, they'll help bolster the price the charity gets each month at auction.
The more noble, trustworthy and transparent the charity, and the more sparing and certain their schedule of opening packs and selling cards, the higher the premium we can expect.
Combining cards would add a whole lot of other owner names to the list, but the charity would still be one of them.
I can even imagine people deliberately building a Max common including dozens of different charities' cards
Ohh can't wait to get to the gift shop. No gas money needed!! Lol. I appreciate all you do. Classic collectors items for sure!
Great work!

nice overview! I was wondering about the gold drop rate. Thanks!
Current Legends circulating available? This is awesome stuff. Thanks!
Take a peek at this one woofer, got your legendary data right here.
Awesome monster shit man :)
I know you are a woofer.... but please when the need arises... please take your monster shits elsewhere... we don't want to stink customers away now do we!
There should be a public woofer toilet around somehwere

Man this is awesome and I really appreciate you taking the time and creating this. Really gives me a value I can put on my cards/deck now and can say I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. Granted it's just an estimate, but I think it's a great indication of where the future of this game and the value of these cards are going.
I am looking for some weekly card action numbers so I can analyze. Interested in gold of course. Wanna see what exists out there in total number.
