Cross Stitched Sleeping Mask - easy handmade how to

Hello friends, today I would like to share how i make this cute sleeping mask last weekend.

Materials & things needed:

• cross stitch fabric in natural color
• brown color embroidery thread
• embroidery needle
• cotton natural fabric
• 0,75 cm wide rubber band
• sewing needle
• red and white sewing thread
• a black marker
• unused paper
• pencil

Easy how to:
First cross stitch the eyebrows and closed eyes with the eyelashes with the double brown embroidery thread. I started with the right eyebrow then to the right eye and the eyelashes.

Finished, then i continue to the left part. From the eyebrow then to the eye.

After finished the eyes, then draw and cut out from a piece of unused paper, the eyemask pattern. You could copy my pattern in the picture below.

Then draw with a pencil the pattern on the cross stitch fabric like below.

Also draw with a pencil half of the pattern on the fabric. Cut them out a bit bigger than the pattern.

Sew with red thread the middle part of both fabric cut out. Sew with white thread upon the red one then release the red thread.

Sew with red thread, the rubber on the cross stitch fabric.

Then sew with red thread two half patterned fabric with the cross stitch fabric.

Cut the cross stitch fabric as the pattern but give some space bigger than the pattern.

Sew with the white thread around then release the red thread.

Turn it around, then it's ready to use!
