There are many struggles in achieving your goals in life. Sometimes those struggles are sadly initiated by humans and worst, they come from the group of people who surround you.
In this blog, I want to share my personal advice on what to do when there are people who keep on bringing you down. At the end of this blog, I hope that you will be able to realize that you are a blessing.
APPRECIATE THEM
It’s not easy for them to monitor your daily activities. They have spent so much of their time just to see you fail. They even did their best just to know every piece of your failure and success. They are showing concern in all the happenings in your life: this action is one of a kind.
Appreciation comes from the heart: you don’t have to talk to them personally to tell them that you appreciate their efforts. You just need to show it through your actions and through your heart.
UNDERSTAND THEM
They are bringing you down because you are on top of them (as what they are thinking of). It is not your duty to go down to their level and to stay on their level. Keep the momentum at the top for you to bless them. In that way, you are helping them to go to your level and eventually succeed together with you.
Understand that right now they can’t still be with you in the position where you are in. Understand that they still lack the capabilities needed to be with you in the position where you are in. Understand that they still need your help. You can even help them if there will come a point or opportunity to help them.
Just relax because even from the start they are already LOOKING UP to you.
LISTEN TO IMPROVE
Since you have a good heart, you can also use their words for you to improve. Again, LISTEN to IMPROVE. Do not listen to feel down.
The best way to deal with their words is to use them to improve yourself. Sometimes, they also have a point, you just need to be open-minded. In the end, you will also learn. However, if there are times that they don’t have any point at all, then learn not to learn from it.
Lastly, If they keep on talking lies about you: DO NOT ENTERTAIN. Continue doing what is right because actions can justify lies.
PLEASE GOD; NOT THEM
We are here to please our God. If you keep on pleasing them, you will always fail because they will never become contented.
Doing what is right to make you happy and to make you love your life is already enough.
Always remember that even in a competition, "Audience Impact" is just 10% of the total score and sometimes, it has none.
CONCLUSION
You are a blessing because you are one of a kind. Some people will not believe in you but there are still more who does. Both people who believe and who does not are looking up to you. They both are concern of your failure and success. You just need to think that both have a positive impact to your life in different ways.
Enjoy your performance in life and enjoy serving the Best Judge—and not the human judges.
