Hay Must Be The Zombie.......Part 3

Welcome to my third installment of what could be called as my display of the “currency of the dead.” This is one of my all-time favorites and most coin collectors would agree that the Morgan dollar is the best

The Morgan Silver Dollar. 41989D25-9FE1-429D-A899-A0B8FB5A1F79.jpeg
To me it’s one of the most beautiful coins ever made. 49AA1458-1D69-47A2-81B6-A8C7AF39C564.jpeg1FE3B16C-9897-4BBE-9BBA-21199220A41D.jpeg

It was minted from 1878 - 1904 and for one year in 1921. Their were several places it was minted, which you can find on the reverse of the coin just under the tail feathers of the majestic bald eagle. 957344FF-F659-4252-82F4-8CB148CF7DED.jpeg
Here is a run down on the different mints that produced this gem; if it doesn’t have a Mint mark then it’s from (Philadelphia), S is for (San Francisco)O is for (New Orleans), D is for (Denver), and CC is for (Carson City).
Here is a cool commemorative round from the Carson City Mint DBB1F76A-CC32-428E-8051-3ACF4711E8FA.jpeg

Welcome to the Morgue Ann

The apocalypse has been hard on this once beautiful face. Her hair has thinned, her flesh has rotted to the bone and the flowers in her cap have wilted on the zombie Morgue Anne. Liberty is no longer free from contamination. Z2, MORGUE ANNE and 2017 are inscribed around her ghastly portrait.A9477FAB-833A-434E-BDA9-3612A3E179DC.jpeg

And on the reverse they feature the biohazard symbol with blood spots from her most recent victims ADBFEA7C-8157-47D5-927C-DE9753286DEB.jpeg

They did a fantastic job recreating this classic masterpiece and it’s a foreshadowing of future events to comeDDB6F437-A9E0-4848-8401-9FC38498AE5F.jpeg

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a great day 👍🏼🍺🥓

That is a beautiful Morgan Dollar specimen, cugino! It is interesting to see the counterpart zombie Morgue Anne. Thanks for sharing the very nice silver dollar and the cool silver round. Have a great Sunday! Take care.

I hope your weekend is going good. My water heater went out so I had to go get a new one and put it in.....good thing I know a plumber!! 👍🏼🍺🥓

In my first house, I had an old style water heater... if broke and flooded the garage, LOL! It is always great to know a good plumber and an all around handyman. They are very hard to come by and knowing someone is priceless. Lucky you!

I am not a Wlking Dead fan and this goes to these Zombie Coins. I recognize the artistry, but I can't make me like them...
