wow it has been a while i post so sorry, it was due to my busy schedule recently..

Before explaining volcanism, it will be in my best place to talk about the structure of the earth.....well geography has made me to love magma topic...
The earth is divided into three layers,,the interior structure of the Earth is layered in spherical shells.

  1. AN OUTER SILICATE CRUST
  2. AN EXTREMELY VISCOUS MANTLE
  3. AND A LIQUID CORE
now i am going to be explaining them one after the other.. now sit down with a table water, sip and enjoy the ride.........

LISTED LAYERS
EXPLANATIONS OF LAYERS
1.
AN OUTER SILICATE CRUST
The Geologian said the earth crust is the outermost part of the earth or planet that contain the hydrosphere, biosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere, there are three types of crust,,PRIMARY CRUST,SECONDARY CRUST,TERTIARY CRUST....
2.
AN EXTREMELY VISCOUS MANTLE
The Mantle is the second layer of the Earth. It is the biggest and takes up 84 percent of the Earth.

The mantle is divided into two sections. The Asthenosphere, the bottom layer of the mantle made of plastic like fluid and The Lithosphere, the top part of the mantle made of a cold dense rock.the normal temperature of the mantle is 3000° Celsius, but as soon as we approach the inner core, the temperature gets hotter..

3.

AND A LIQUID CORE
The outer core of the Earth is a fluid layer about 2,300 km (1,400 mi)[1] thick and composed of mostly iron and nickel that lies above Earth's solid inner core and below its mantle

volcanism

is the phenomenon or a situation whereby the eruption of molten rock (magma) onto the surface of the Earth occur or a solid-surface planet or moon, where lava, pyroclastics and volcanic gases erupt through a break in the surface called a vent........but for the sake of mountain formation we will be focusing the eruption of molten magma on the earth....

seperator.gif

The processes involve in volcanism

the processes of volcanism start from the eruption of molten magma from the mantle or the lower crust to the outer crust....its behavior depends on the viscosity of the molten constituent rock...thick magma eruption produces volcanoes characterized by explosive eruptions...

seperator.gif

Driving forces of volcanism

one of the propeller of volcanism is due to the acceleration/movement of molten rock(magma) in the inner mantle,,caused by thermal convection currents, coupled with gravitational effects of changes on the earth's surface..that is to say erosion is a high contribution to the driving force of volcanism...

seperator.gif

Aspect of volcanism

there are different aspect and types of volcanoes.....Volcanoes are places where magma reaches the earth's surface. The type of volcano depends on the location of the eruption and the consistency of the magma..

we have

  1. Intrusions volcano
  2. Earthquakes
  3. Hydrothermal vents
  4. Volcanic winter

u put in so much work into this thanks for sharing

@dreamchasser
You are a darling....

Nicely detailed. kudos sist,

Noted....my next post, i will use images from free image websites.....thanks for the info sir

this is nice, and well detailed,, the lower earth 🌍 crust i guess becomes heavy

And causes molten magma eruption which solidify on the outer earth crust to form mountain

Hmmmm, this one deep oo🤔

Lol.....like seriously ....

Thanks you so much Nicki for the new educational post... Kudos boss lady 🤓

Oh thanks dear......thanks for reading and supporting

You're welcome

Great post, very informative, keep the good work up

Very educational post @nickibanjlady, now I know what happens during volcano. @dee-y over and out.

Rep mate .....thanks....and i am happy i made a light to volcano
