Where did the time go? Another campfire chat..

A week ago I started playing a game of D&D. The time really flew by!
My youngest has come down with something viral, so he's home sick.
My eldest boy is home for a couple of days on leave and staying away from sick people, and possible carriers. Which means he most likely won't be coming here at all until everyone is well again, and I don't blame him.
Wife and daughters are working.
I did something to my back and it's not getting better, so I've been in bed most of the time. I got bored with my usual routine and found that game on the Xbox One, but it may have been a mistake. Only time will tell. I've been averaging about four to six hours of sleep per night.
On a positive note, I found a really nice guy to hang out with in the game and his brother joined us last night. Both are warriors and I'm the field medic/cleric. SO MUCH FUN! OMG! We had so much fun the last two days, it reminded me of my childhood. I haven't had so much fun with anyone outside the family in almost twenty years. It really helps me keep my mind off of my pain. Unfortunately the side effects are kind of apparent in my family's behavior. My wife has become slightly more hostile towards me and she won't discuss what's on her mind, but I think it's worry. Money would certainly help out our current situation (and I'm not talking about a paltry sum either. If it were a small amount we wouldn't be so worried about things. It's causing problems, a story not so atypical to many families.) and give her a much needed break, but I seem to be unable to help. It's a tad frustrating all around, but we persevere.
This is me after four hours of sleep.

Much love and light to you and yours, I hope you are all well.

Hoping you get better soon and glad you've found a party to game with. It always makes things a lot more enjoyable.

It is my first time doing mmorpg type stuff. The crew and I just started our own guild last night, unfortunately I had to leave my other guild to do so. Had a blast! Until I got a really bad headache, then I had to shut down and do maintenance on myself. I had a forced break, I needed sleep and aspirin. Woke up around 3am feeling like I was refreshed enough to stay awake for a little while. Headache gone.

I hope your son gets well soon and you feel better from your back issues! You had me a little worried about you! Happy you are having a good time with the game!! I totally get it with the finance thing but hopefully things will look up soon for you and your family!! Love and Light to you @xmaas!! 😊

I apologize, didn't mean to make anyone worry. I just became so engrossed with the game that I lost track of time. I can see what the draw is to gaming with friends online. I met a bunch of cool people who aren't all about causing problems, but just want to hang out and socialize for a while, in between sleeps and work. Ya know me, I love people. I ate up an entire week and it felt like minutes passed by. I'll be checking back in from time to time though, until this runs its course and ceases being fun.

You will be up and about as soon as it is to happen. Take care of the rest of you and the back side will follow. I know things can seem so bad sometimes although we can always make it thru. Love

I was pretty desperate for something new to entertain me. This certainly fit the bill. My back is slowly getting better. Constantly reevaluating my condition here. The game keeps my mind occupied while the body does its thing.
Much love,
X
