RE: REAL STORIES FROM LIFE - what you experience, matters.

Thanks, I don't have much to add on this occasion though.

Once a boy actually beat me up badly and pulled my hair so hard and punched me in the stomach that I could still pull the tufts off my head days later. I didn't tell anyone anything.

That's awful. I'm sorry to hear that. How did you feel about it? Have you had more experiences like this in your life?

Sort:

I do have similar experiences, yes. But mostly, I think, my parents and grandparents passed over their fears on me, those parts, they left unworked and unreflected upon. It's hard to carry the burdens of former generations and I try my very best to clear them, to solve the trauma and to become calm about all the horrible things that happened. I hope, the carriage I will hand over to the next generation might be of lesser weight. Unfortunately, there are countless others who live out their traumas on children, in particular at kindergarden and school.

Nevertheless I am positive about how I raised my son so far. I have done most of my job until now. He will soon be an adult and will take care of himself.

I'm sorry you went through that. And I'm sorry if I touch on a sensitive subject for you.

Yes, that's what we should all try to do, I think, to reduce the weight. And it's good that you're positive about it.

Cheers.
