For years and probably for the coming years, the expectations that woman should act in a primitive manner - disciplined, dignified - have not ever changed.
WOMEN have always been receiving remarks, have always been told on what and how to act, have always been eyed. It's like their foot's one step at the door and in one indecent move - intentionally or not - they could be stucked and get hurt. And women, no matter how much they try to fit in, have always been associated as weak, useless, powerless. That the authority of women isn't as much needed as the authority of men. Or they do not have any authority over anything at all.
The sad thing is, women are more commonly just for decorations rather than they are women. Their capabilities were measured by the length of their hair, the fairness of their skin, their cup size. Reality has become too depressing for them. Their feelings were nothing but thin paper that could easily be torn. Not unless they're pretty, they will be of no importance.
That may be the reason why women long for admiration. That maybe for a long while, they have been feeling worthless. That the rejection has made them feel suffocated, and a praise could only make them breathe. That they could spend their whole lives cleaning mess, and watching over the kids, and adjusting o the world's demands, because at least they'd feel a sense of purpose, that afterall, they are needed and men could never make it without them. Because yes, men could truly not make it without women.
God, in the beginning, has made a man and a woman. And then, the world has revolved all around them. See? In the beginning, a woman was there and no urban myths and legends could deny that. So why do we look so low of them when they are equally the same as men? Why are woman limited with their actions when they are also made with hands and legs? Why are they of no power when their voices scream change?
The world will never be the same without women. And it is only just that they receive the same treatment as men have been receiving. Because women - more than their ability of cleaning mess and watching over the kids and adjusting to the world's demands - have so much more to offer. And no one could ever equal their capacity to love. No, no man ever could.
