I came across Hive in December 2020 while listening to a few tech guys on YT. I signed up in January 2021, and I had a similar experience to yours. I wasn't locked out, but I didn't receive my keys upon signing up. It took me 2-3 months to get them after contacting the 3Speak devs. Once I had access, I delved into gaining a better understanding of the platform, with its plethora of frontends, the different communities, and, more importantly, how the game is played among the so-called "whales". It's been a fun ride, and I befriended amazing peeps on the chain. Furthermore, I had the privilege of getting to know a few in person after attending a Hive meetup in Vienna.
