Dear steemians,
Today i am narrating a story which required little investigation and i am happy that i was the lead to do this. Hennerietta Isabella, this name kept me awake for 2 days as it was consistently poking my head. now as i know the story it feels like that i am in love with Hennerietta Isabella. How i heard about her and what inspired me to know about her will come in the end.
She was born in England and came to India in 1859. Her father was a high rank officer and was serving with Lord Elgin. She was very beautiful at the age of 17. Anyone who saw her would fell for her. She was intelligent girl. She stood 5 ft 6 inch with all the jewels of youth. After settling in Dharamshala she wanted to explore this town and wanted to feel nature. Her father provided escorts and allowed her to look around.
Isabella loved nature. The voice of sound of wind and the scent of greens give her pleasure. Next morning she along with two escorts went to Mcleod Ganj. The distance between both the towns is 10 kms. mcleod ganj was the trade hub for Kangra valley at that time. Lots of merchnts and traders from nearby towns and villages used to come over there for business.
When Isabella reached Mcleod ganj, she was mesmerised by the market and variety of colorful clothes, beddings . She was looking at thefabrics while two eyes were glued upon her. She raised her head to find a masculine figure of a boy staring at her. She objected but the boy came close to her and said I have never seen anything more beautiful then you. I can look at you forever. Isabella felt affectionate but the escorts with her pushed the boy and started beating him with the butts of their gun. Boy stood up, pushed them and ran away.
Isabella was laying in bed but she was unable to sleep. Her mind was occupied with the flashes of the incident. She recalled the whole incident. She found herself thinking about the boy only. She felt herself in love with this boy on a very first sight. Next day she went to Mcleod Ganj without telling her father. She was looking for the boy in the market. she looked all over but only to be dissappointed. She thought that she will never meet this guy again. She asked few shop keepers but none of them could understand her. She felt sad but suddenly she saw that boy coming. As soon as the boy looked her she started walking towards the hill. Boy followed her and after reaching to the hill and after making sure that no one can see her , she stopped. She asked his name. Kaichu , he replied.
