The success of this mode goes to a clever marketing campaign, "Tik your fan on and Tok your temp down!" While the company didn't want to reveal the details of this mode they said that most consumers had them set on Douyin yourself mode which is somewhat embarrassing but more efficient. 4.9 million regularly undresses their shirt and run in front of the fan with the hands lifted up in the air. This ensures maximum airflow and heat dissipation from the armpits. NBA also promises some weight loss with Douyin as an additional reason for the most popular mode.
