Sunset at the floodplain

In summer, I enjoy watching the sunset in then nature, the coastal line of a lake or a river. This is a perfect place to calm yourself down and enjoy the nice situation. Of course only if there are not so many mosquitos around. On some days in summer it can get pretty bad when the mosquitos arrive. At this place of the floodplain there are also several nice spots for bird photography. I already took pictures of the great crested grebe, the little egret and several ducks there. This tree lying there on the water is also a great spot for the common kingfisher.

Because this place is not far away from where I live, it is a nice place for taking pictures after i come home from my work. Either to calm down after a long and stressful day or just to take some pictures for my pleasure. The next interesting fact about taking pictures at evening ist that you really get some nice reflections and shadows that create a special look.
