Hello Steemitverse and Foodies around the world!
We had a simple lunch few weeks ago after the karate session of my daughter. She was very hunger after two hours of training. We decided to eat in the nearest restaurant from the gym, just 2 blocks away CHITO’S Restaurant where located.
Chito’s was originated in 2009 at Lucban, Quezon and expand another branch in the city proper of Lucena. It cater’s Filipino food and local dishes from the province of Quezon.
This resto is not that big and fancy but enough to accommodation about 30 persons but clean, super cold air-condition, well organized and famous with their colorful umbrella as decoration on the ceiling as their trademark.
You can find the menus on the counter, pick as you wish and pay as you order.
Got our orders and waited for our number 24 to be served.
The dessert came in first, a sweet gelatin with milk and assorted color with fruit flavor called Cathedral Window because it’s does look like one.
After 15 minutes it was followed by Classic Spring Chicken, it is a crispy chicken with simple flavor like salt, pepper and lemon grass but very tender and it tastes like home cooked by your grandma. And big cuts of tasty potato ridges that complements the chicken.
As always, it was perfect paired with hot plain rice and some red chili.
Price breakdown:
Classic Spring Chicken - 230.00
Cathedral Window - 50.00
2 Cups of Rice - 50.00
Water - Free
Our lunch cost about 330.00 Php or 6.50 USD fair enough for this kind of meal for two.
Thank you and have a good day.
xoxo,

The fried chicken looks crispy and delicious. And the dessert (the gelatin) also looks very nice.
