I still remember when I first noticed a new channel called 'Teh Tarik Sunday' in TeamMalaysia discord last week, I thought it was just another chatting channel. 'Teh Tarik' means Pulled Tea (Malaysia style milk tea). When we Malaysian mentioned Teh Tarik, we mean chit chatting session with a cup of Teh Tarik.
I asked @zord189 what is it all about and his answer was simple 'You will know soon'. Haha
Days later, @bitrocker2020 and @zord189 announced this new 'Teh Tarik Sunday' project in Steemit. You can read the announcement post here and here. The idea is to allow fellow TeamMalaysia to promote their post or to share other interesting posts that they have read. Oh ya, the entire session will be done in voice channel. Participants are able to share their view or idea behind the post and also interact with other members in Q&A session.
This is a very good initiative because many times after we read a post, we can only leave a comment in the post if we have things to ask and we have to wait for them to reply. Now with 'Teh Tarik Sunday', we can get the answer straight away. Additionally, the sharing session creates interest in me to read the post again and appreciate the content more.
We had our first 'Teh Tarik Sunday' session last Sunday and it was hosted by no other than TeamMalaysia discord king @zord189 and famous TeamMalaysia Podcaster @branlee87. We have near 30 participants that joined the voice channel, which is a very good turnout.
In order for the host to have control on the voice channel, only the hosts and members who share the post are allowed to talk in the channel. Other members are able to interact via another channel.
Right after the session begins, members started to order their food and drinks. Haha all the funny members we have here in TeamMalaysia.
For the next 1 ½ hour, there are 7 sharing sessions in total by @DigitalMind @superoo7 @tifaong @kchitrah @buzz.lightyear @veenang and @hooiyewlim
@superoo7 even setup a Dlive session for the other steemians to enjoy too.
After the session, I received a lot of additional information that I can't get just by reading the post itself, and I able to understand more on the story behind their post. I truly appreciate @bitrocker2020 for this brilliant idea and thank you @zord189 and @branlee87 for the amazing host. Kudos!!
Hahaha, thank you for documenting the session! :) The whole recording will be posted very soon! Stay tune for that! Thanks for your support bro!

This is such a great idea to help everyone and much easier in communicating ideas, rather than just being limited to posting replies. Well done!
