AI Gone Wrong... Mall Security Robot Drowns Itself.

in #technology7 years ago (edited)

I absolutely love all things technical and so with that am fascinated by pretty much anything that relates to AI and robotics. Definitely got my smile of the day from this ZeroHedge article today.

It seems the Knightscope K5 security robot that was supposed to monitor suspicious behaviour on the Georgetown Waterfront in Washington DC it had enough of it's work and rolled itself into a fountain and drowned itself.

As usual expect the comment thread to be pretty entertaining and the Twitter Feed is pretty good as well.

So if technology going wrong brings a grin to your face give this a read and definitely enjoy the comments... looks like it's going to be a fun thread!

It probably started watching some cable news networks, went into a deep and terrible depression, and ended its misery.

Lol, watching the cable news would probably do it for a lot of us! :)
