Hello @riverflows! Long time indeed. I have followed your travels now and again :) I was thinking about your trip in the UK and how you might be stuck. How are you handling that? Love the van build. Things are going good here, I work from home and get to spend lots of time with my partner a little boy (6 months now). I am also enjoying the relative quietness, lack of cars and people in a great tearing rush. We are now bread making, using soap nuts, thinking about what we eat, cooking every meal etc.

Oh, funny you should say soap nuts! I've been reading up about horse chestnuts as detergent. I used to use soap nuts a lot here! Aw - 6 months old!!!! Wow, that's really cool!!!! It's great not having so many cars in the UK, huh - or planes! The skies are so quiet!!!!! I made foccaccia yesterday - delicious. We only just got hold of yeast!

It's nice down in Somerset, but feelings are coming in waves. It's disappointing to have this year written off I guess, though people have it worse thanus. It's sad not being able to see any of our friends here or go to any of the places I wanted to see when I was here. A bit gutted, to be honest!

Hehe, we have also started making Foccaccia, we have loads of plain flour and its easy to make! I really do hope you get to see friends and do what you need to do soon, make the most of your time here post-C19! If you come anywhere near Suffolk, where I live, you should drive through Lavenham, you may of heard of it :) it's a real gem.
