End of the movie, he and the wife have made it to the bunker. They're in a dorm, surrounded by bunk beds and they all sit directly on the concrete floor together and hug.

A structural engineer about to experience a shockwave beyond human experience and he chooses to do this with his spine an inch from the concrete floor on top of bedrock, instead of lying flat on the mattress on springs, next to him.

Not one of the people involved in the production or editing of this movie had a problem with that. Unforgivable. I'm still angry. I'm angry at you for reminding me.
