Well I woke up got dressed and took my girls out for there morning walk... No, no dog park today as it's a bit chilly and I hate the cold so we shall snuggle up under the blankets.

All that's missing now is a steaming cup of coffee. But this will have to do as I don't really want to accumulate a lot of stuff being we are in a tent and I don't want to have a lot of crap to move around.
Look the truth is I need help getting back on my feet as his day labor pay just isn't enough. As many of you that have read my post you all know that I lost my van/home around 5 months ago in a fire and I have been trying to gather funds to help me get another vehicle. I started a GoFundMe page, but really got nowhere with that.
Come to find out GoFundMe charges serious cash to donate. For example someone sent me $100, but he had to pay $115.00 only for me to get $98. And that's when I thought I should try to get the donations through Paypal.
So here I sit in my tent wondering about how I can make money since I have no one I trust with my girls.
I did find out recently that PayPal will charge to if you use a credit/debit card to donate PayPal to PayPal is the best way to donate as there are no charges.
As to date I have received $148 in donations for the fire relief fund out of the $5,000 goal I set when I created my GoFundMe page.
I really hope you can get a new vehicle soon! How much do you have saved up?

Thanks, but living in my tent is not my first choice. I had a van and lost it in a fire.
I get that and I read about it, I just meant in General that I love the camping life. But I do understand you and that living in a tent all the time isn't a way of life so I really hope you get a new van ❤️

Actually you can get a pretty good van these days for 3 to $500 from a tow yard.
In fact you can also get on Facebook and they have cheap van life groups that have locals in the area that also live in vans and they do things like spotting van life vehicles.

This sounds interesting and I have looked at FB MARKETPLACE and it is just crazy scams there now. No one actually has possession of the vehicle they sell or their selling /posting someone else and then you have to go through emails. That is not how I'm used to dealing with buying a vehicle. I like face 2 face action.
Tow yards are the best but you gotta look for something with known problems. It runs drives and needs tires brakes and things you can fix. But it's cheap enough you can get something and make most your money back even if it gets scrapped..
The the groups. People there will help others as well.
Lots of scams are put there but there is a lot of good.people.

How can I get a vehicle from a tow yard? As those belong to people and I'm sure they will go to get their vehicle back.
After 30 days if you don't pay your towing fee... The towing yard gets to own your vehicle.
Ironically a friend of mine actually got his vehicle towed and I bought it back for him for 200 bucks. Lol.
It was actually a pretty nice little car.
So yes you go in and you let the tow yard copy your driver's license and they let you check out test drive and get to know potential vehicles that are up for sale.
There are some people that actually make an entire living just by buying a vehicle from a tow yard fixing it up a little bit and doing the paperwork and then selling it for a double or more return on investment...
Ok what state do you live in? I've never heard of this and I am curious to know more.
I live in Oregon and Washington however I've never heard of this being different.
Every state has tow trucks and mechanics which all of these will sell vehicles.
Here in Oregon you can do this easily and flying to the DMV for the paper title as opposed to a lein title the only difference is you have to wait for about 2 weeks for the paperwork to be done at the DMV for you to get the regular title.
Ok help me understand. Most owner keep title it the glove box of the vehicle, so would I not just be able to take that and get it transferred. And how is it legal for tow companies to sell a vehicle that belongs to someone else?
Call a tow company and ask. They want to sell cars.

I'm a tow truck driver and repossession agent at times...
And there's always car auctions too but you have less time to check the cars out than a tow yard.
I know people that do this for a living and make mad money.
Look at a used car dealership this is what they do. Get a car fix it and sell it.
You get a older van fix it up with cheap van life hacks and pimp it and sell it for a good amount of money for installing solar and kitchen and bathroom... You sell for a tidy profit and do it again and have a place to live.
Opportunities are everywhere and I'm about to do the same here in a minute.
