So I remembered I had a Steemit account again o-o Yay
Thanksgiving just came and went in the US, and I personally had a blast. It was a small gathering of my immediate family, the food was delicious, and since we all agree on many topics the discussions we had were pleasant.
But I realize that isn't the case for many people. I don't like my extended family that much, due to a constant feeling that they need to be impressed about something, like it's a competition. I'm sure I am not alone in feeling that way, but I got to wondering...
Aside from political disagreements (and anything related to abuse), what are some things that you personally experience that make holiday gatherings awkward? What would make you not look forward to them?
