My wife and I soon plan to build our own home. A place where we can live responsibly but simply and comfortably. We will grow our own food and produce our own energy. I want to be fully self-sufficient and energy independant. I no longer want to be dependant on any government or organisation to live.
It would be nice to document the process on Hive if the project garners some attention here.
Hopefully one day we get it looking like in the attached pic (That might well take a while though).

That's a great goal to have. We had a house built for us 20 years ago. At the time we wanted solar panels, but couldn't afford it. Now we are finally taking that step to self-sufficiency. We grow some food in the garden.
You should document it on Hive to inspire others.
