I'm mentally exhausted, I don't want to give a sob story here. Short version: somehow my masterpassword for ironshield and lturner were compromised and changed. I'm locked out of both accounts. lturner was my recovery account.
I'm taking some time off to reflect, rebuild, redesign, reconfigure and sort of reprogram my brain.
It's time for new habits, good habits, profitable habits. I can't think of lost work/wages/time. Nobody can take the experience away from me.
I'm not done here, but frankly having (almost) everything ripped away suddenly is a tough pill to swallow. I had plans for this crypto someday.

Likely some phising. There are similar reports on Hive discords and in some telegram groups. (Try to reach out guiltyparties, i think, she was asking around about that - or at least, she knows who did.)
I don't think, they can help you, but you can ask around there. People are aware of it, and try to identify the person(s) who is doing it.
Probably you stored your keys in a file on your computer, phone or in your email, likely that's how they got it! Always print it, or write it down, keep it on another device, which is not connected to same ip, dont keep it on same devices (ip) where from you use Hive.

Do you have even an inkling as to how this could have happened? As in, what can other hiveians do to stay safe? If you are aware of how it happened, it could be beneficial to others to learn how they can remain vigilant.

I have some theories, but nothing certain. I think I'll make a post about it soon. One big takaway: change your password, don't loose your password.

I've decided to continue posting with this (not-so) new account. There is still so much to be grateful for. Iff crypto is all we really cared about, we wouldn't still be posting earning a few dollars here and there. I've been advocating STEEM/HIVE since 2017 and I knew the risks, it's still a sound system. I still advocate blockchain blogging. Danger is part of the cost of freedom, worth every penny upvote. :-)

This is a terrible experience. Best thing from here on in is that we all learn from this and exercise the appropriate caution and due care when interacting with accounts outside our circle of family, friends and entities we normally do business with.
I don't know if I'll ever actually get to the bottom of how this happened exactly, but regardless, focusing on what is good is what keeps me going. I'm so grateful for this community and individuals who have reached out to me with both sympathy and encourging words. It's keeping me going!
