Nope, this post won't all be about spooky tunes or anything.
I was commenting on @bitcoinbaby's post earlier and when he mentioned Ren, I was all ears, since I love the guy. My daughter introduced me to his music, and even though she's no longer really listening to him now, I still am!
Therefore, I thought I'd share three tunes that connect us: my daughter and yours truly. Mainly because she was the one who introduced me to them.
I'd also like to mention that the liquid rewards of this post will be going to the GoFundMe in aid of the people of Acapulco, after hurricane Otis devastated the city.

Ren and Sam Tomkins
My daughter introduced me to Sam and Ren at the same time, with this song.
If you have a chance, check out Sam too. He's an amazing talent. My daughter went to his concert, and he stopped so everyone could take a picture with him. He's not only very cool but has an amazing voice. Look up his version of Halo after this. You won't regret it. I promise.
There are a few live versions of this tune but I like this car park version the best.
Pierce the Veil & Kellin Quinn (of Sleeping with Sirens)
The third tune has to be these guys. It's the first band my daughter listened to that I could actually stomach LOL. She was very young and before this (her emo phase) she was listening to...You may have guessed it: One Direction. Yeah, not really a fan here. I was really happy that she changed course just before they were in Ireland for a concert, or I would have been dragged down there with her, and would have had to wear my headphones to drown out the boy band lol.
This spot could have been for another band, one of both of our favorites now, Twenty-One pilots but I chose this one instead.
Anyway, here we go.

I prefer Twenty-one pilots too. Their live shows are the best, and that's coming from a long time Foo Fighters fan haha (oh, the Foos...nothing beats their shows lol).
But I do like this particular song, and it has a special meaning to me because it was a time when things weren't easy between my daughter and I but the music brought us together.
Honestly, these past few 3 tune Tuesdays, I've just been tempted to post different shades of Ren, so this speaks to me on so many levels. Love it <3 thanks for introducing new tunes, by the way, didn't know the last one.
