I usually post #thoughtfuldailypost (@Wesphilbin waves the @thoughtfulposts flag) on Thursdays and have incorporated music for quite a while. So, why not switch it up and join the fun on #threetunetuesday as well? Even thought it is actually Wednesday?

Feelings & Thoughts

Anton Chekhov is in the conversation of being one of the greatest writers of all time while being a physician by profession so he has my ear!

What a heavy statement this is. Made even heavier knowing that my comfy north american lifestyle probably hasn't even afforded me hard times like those known by those before me. Though tough has become quite subjective in an era where inconvenience is often classified as strife but I digress.

To imagine the toughest times in my life, then amplify those to the misery I can't even fathom, I can only estimate my mindset. Hard times come with side effects and trials are laced with emotion which would make critical decisions even more tough to navigate. So get right down in there and then th9ink about how difficult it would be to master feelings and thoughts. Then contemplate the consequences of bad decisions in times of real hardship.

No wonder dude has his head in his hand. Hardship may be subjective but lets show some respect for folks going through hard times.

Pretty sure I have shared my Canadian boys Triumph before. Hard times call you to Fight the Good Fight.

Building Happiness

I am finding this warrior image is being used as the background for many sentiments. I am even finding this quote with other images like this one,

Whenever I see a quote that starts with 'men', I immediately wonder if we can just use 'person.' I can see how this is relevant for myself and men like me but there are warriors on both (....all?) sides of sexuality? Allow me to digress again!

This one strikes me as purpose and duty. Both can be a curse but I find a purpose to be a blessing and a duty to add nobility to any struggles I have personally. On the other side, I have witnessed people who lack a purpose and are short on duty to others only to have that manifest into a bit of a curse. That's just my unqualified opinion though. All I know, when I am striving, doing the things other people are willing to do, and have the responsibility of building for myself and others, I have a sense of happiness with all of the little victories.

That is a tough one to match with music but a home can be a house. Our House. It's our castle and our keep. Madness.
