OVERSIGHTS: As part of today's familiarization activities, the newly sworned commissioner for culture and tourism , Dr Darlington Nnamdi Ijeh visits Lander Brothers Anchorage and Mongo Park Area/National Museum , both in asaba , Oshimili South local government area of delta State, this as a result of it's commitement and hunger to serve nature of the Honorable commissioner towards delivering it's teams of reference and scopes.
The commissioner while in a brief discussion with some staffs on duties when he visited the both sites , assured them that his tenure as Commissioner for culture and tourism will try it's possible means to bring life back to the site , adding that both sites are very important for historical/ documentary purposes.
" My unscheduled visit is to identify with managements and staffs of this very important sites and looking forward to device/ strategies on how we can bring them back to serve it's old day glory, ijeh stated
The commissioner appeal to management and staff's to work in unity of purpose to enable the ministry achieve it's mandate in line with MORE AGENDA of His Excellency Elder Sheriff francis Oborovwere , Governor of Delta State.
