Salif Keïta, Afrika kıtasındaki Mali'li bir sanatçı. "Kaderin cilvesine" maruz kalmış güzel sesli bir şahsiyet. "Afrika'lı" diye "dış dünyanın" önyargılarına maruz kalmış, kendi ülkesinde ise "siyah olmadığı" için hor görülmüş. Albino hastalığından ötürü "kendi ırkı gibi" değil. Bu durum, onu ta çocukluğundan beri müziğe yöneltiyor. Çok güzel eserler çıkarıyor. İzleyenler bilir, Will Smith'in oynadığı, Muhammed Ali'nin hayatının anlatıldığı Ali filmindeki o etkileyici müziği(Tomorrow) o seslendirmiştir.
