The Ottoman Empire (1299-1923)
The Ottoman Empire was founded in 1299 by Osman Bey, from where its name come from. The empire lasted for 624 years and in this time of existence, 36 sultans ruled the empire. In its bloom time, it was rich in culture, art and knowledge, which was also deliberately collected because of its important for the development.
When in 1453 Constantinople became Istanbul, a city rich in culture, the influence of cultures increased enormously. The reasons for this were not only the mix of living cultures there, also trading by land and by sea has in important role in that. The interest of the empire grew further to accumulate knowledge and so also emerged first universities where beside languages and history, also astronomy was taught. Through this expansion of trade and the interest in new things, the Ottomans discovered coffee in the 15th century for themselfs from arabia. Coffee became very popular and became a delight and social symbol.
Through the trade relations and the curiosity of the Europeans, some 400 years ago, coffee also made its way to Europe. But the famous Silk Road had also found its junction in Anatolia. The small town of Safranbolu was famous for its craftsmanship. Smithy and pottery. By sea the Ottomans get good friendships with India and some regions of Asia and of course, the Ottomans did not fail that Columbus discovered the new world.
They wanted to be part of this new story and so they also went to America, where they made relationships.
After its time of existing, in 1923, the Ottoman Empire was disbanded and the Republic of Turkey was exclaimed. In today's Turkey, after almost 100 years of the Empire, the cultural relicts of the Ottomans can be found everywhere and its essence is still present.

Nice post! Next please writes about the relations between Ottoman Empire and Sultanate of Aceh. Because the Ottoman Empire has a strong relation with Aceh, thus Aceh also became one's of the strongest kingdom in Indonesia, despite one by one local kingdom ceded by the Netherlands. Although Aceh also ceded by the Netherlands in the beginning of 20th century, the declining of Ottoman Empire also had a role on it, which for sure couldnt assisted Aceh as before. In Banda Aceh (capital city of Aceh province) there's also a Turkish Cemeteries, a proofs that once a lots of Turkish settled in Aceh. Regards
