The running of the pedestrians I give way in traffic

I often come across this in traffic. The pedestrian I give way is walking with the fast guys. I just came across this and wanted to share. My giving way is actually what needs to be done. The pedestrian feels embarrassed by my action and starts running quickly. Actually, that's what I should have done. No need to run or fly. I get very upset especially when older women do this. Because no one has given way to them before. However, if everyone gives way to the pedestrian, this will be accepted as normal and our old aunt will not have to run.
