A Trip Through Heaven - join me through my trip to New Zealand

in #travel7 years ago

#NewZealand is one of the most isolated countries in the world! nevertheless, i decided to embark in this adventure with my parter for a life time exquisite experience and trip.
We flew out of #Dubai to Auckland on the world longest non-stop flight as they acclaim! we stayed a couple of nights in Auckland, then rented a car and drove up north to the Bay of Islands, where we stayed at Eagle's Nest Lodge which is hidden between lush green mountains that over looked the bay, the picture below is the view from our villa.

After spending a couple of beautiful nights at Eagle's Nest and the beautiful town of Russell, we drove south for about 8 hours to Solitaire Lodge, Rotorua, as we were leaving Eagle's Nest we saw a Kiwi and did not realize how lucky we are that we've seen the bird as many New Zealanders haven't seen one out of captivity.

The lodge was beautiful, we took a boat ride across the lake for a hiking experience, below is a view from the forest.

After spending about a week in the Northern Island of New Zealand, we took a flight to a small town in the Southern Island called Queenstown, and OH MY GOD! what a beautiful town, i can say it is the most beautiful place I have ever been to!

I am not exaggerating, the weather, the views, the people and the food, extraordinary! After touring the town and visiting the locations of where The Lord of the Rings was filmed, we took a small airplane as you see below to Doubtful Sound Fiord. You can not visit Queenstown and not queue for at least an hour to have the most delicious burger you will ever have and the busiest burger outlet in the world that only shuts down for an hour everyday, ONLY!

The magnificence of the views can not be explained no matter how poetic or articulate one is.

If you get the chance to travel to one country only, i recommend you go to New Zealand and you will never regret!
